Spokane County Jail

Inmates

Interview with Cesar and Tom

JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates?
Cesar: I did not find it to hard to get along with others there. I mostly kept to myself.
Tom: NO I DID NOT. MOST OF THEM SEEMED EASY TO TALK TO AND GET ALONG WITH.

JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Cesar: Mostly kept to myself. Most of the problems in jail are about respect. What other things could there be i mean really.
Tom: WHILE IN THE SPOKANE COUNTY JAIL, ITS PRETTY EASY TO AVOID FIGHTS, EITHER BY WRITING, READING THE BIBLE TALKING TO FELLOW INMATES, WHILE I WAS IN I DID NOT SEE ANY FIGHTS AT 3WEST, MOST KNOW THAT IF THEY DO NOT CREATE PROBLEMS THEY WILL GO TO GEIGOR. SOME OF THE OTHER INMATES THAT WHERE AWARE OF ME ASKED ME TO TALK ABOUT SOME OF THE THINGS I HAD BEEN WRITING ABOUT MY LIFE.

JM: Were you able to choose an inmate if you knew one?
Cesar: Not at all. It jail not a camp out.
Tom: I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT QUESTION

I watched the show "Behind Bars" on Discovery channel and I was appalled with the most "notorious Inmate" housed there named Cole Strandberg. Come on now he know exactly what he wasdoing when he brutally murdered his victim. I think it is a bunch of bull crap that he acts like he's crazy, just to try and "beat" the system. HE NEEDS TO FRY for what he did. What a waste of space he is, I hope and pray he gets the death penalty. Then maybe, just maybe the victims family can have closure knowing that the monster who did that to their daughter is punished for the crime he commited.

Agreed that he should not be out in society, but read the link below, he suffered from a mental disability at a very early age.
